On the same day, BBC published its article, “Can computer translators ever beat speaking a foreign tongue?”
4 years is a long time. CAT, or Computer Assisted Translation keeps improving. If you use it from time to time, you can notice its improvement. BBC hasn’t published an update to its article since then. But it’s interesting to test Google Translate if you go to BBC’s 4-year-old article and copy-paste the phrase from the introduction (link to the article in our blog post).
What we did, 4 years after BBC’s statement, was that we searched for a top list of translation software and apps with detailed reviews and descriptions listing pros and cons.
